Super Reviews for Scoundrels & Seafaers!
More than just pirates, the book takes a look at Jersey history.
Scoundrels & Seafarers is getting terrific reviews on Amazon. I think I made mistake by making the cover so heavy on the evil pirate. The book discusses quite a bit about the history of New Jersey and the pirates influence on the outcome of the Revolutionary War.
(Above:) A bit of AI pirate humor.
So why should you buy it?
Well, it would improve your reading skills. Most of you haven’t read a book in ages.
It would set a good example for your children and grand kids who can’t take their eyes off the cell phone or video games.
It would increase your knowledge of New Jersey history and if you live or were born in New Jersey and boost your ego about living here and make you feel prouder about us.
It provides some incredibly interesting facts about how our State began, grew and prospered. Info you can pass on to your little ‘uns and throw in the faces of those who demean us.
If you’re not from New Jersey it would give some valuable insights about how our tiny state was so “bigly” important for the establishment of the country and would make you realize we are not just the Soprano State.
Give you some great stories about the pirates who actually walked the shores of New Jersey and provided black marketed goods to the Continental Army, their ships and the Jersey inlets they used.
Give you insights on how these brigands lived and survived on these boats.
Describe the battles that took place in New Jersey. The most of any State.
Tell you how the Pine Barrens got its name and how important the Pineys were to our growth.
Plus throw in a little about its origination, Henry Hudson & the native tribes who roamed the forests and shores.
Comes in three formats, e-book, paperback & hard bound.
It is an easy read, and if you are at all curious will actually make you want to know about the State that you live(d) in or if you aren’t from here, at least get the facts straight when you start bad mouthing us. 😊
Okay, get to it. Order it now before the price goes up, and you use that as an excuse not to order.
Seriously, love you guys. Thanks for stopping in to read Lou’s Place. I’ve tried to keep it interesting…buy my book!!
And have a great New Year with lots of happiness and prosperity.
Lou
P.S. Wait until you see which cover you picked for my next sexy, violet, private eye book, “Too Decent to Die” where the women are sex objects, the men are macho jerks, and the exploits nasty. Something for everyone except the church lady (guy).
