Okay, I finally have it done. First, here’s the cover that won the vote to be on the books, e-book, paper back and hard bound. It got 60% of the votes, so an easy choice. Thanks to all of you who contributed.
Here were the choices:
All editions, E-book, paperback and hard bound will be out on on February 4th, but you can pre-order the E-book edition now, it’s $3.99. You can get it here. Too Decent To Die.
Once it’s released you will be able to download it. The presale indicates how popular the book could become so if you think you’re going for it, please do.
This is a hard-nosed, private eye, track down a serial killer book. Macho, macho. Ladies, you’re always welcome, but it is no syrupy romance. It’s sexy, violent and very topical.
The villain is tracking down and shooting evil billionaires, like what happened with the CEO UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson recently. People are pissed and this is a vicarious treat of vengeance caused by the inequality between the regular working guy and billionaire sociopaths who take advantage of everyone. I mentioned this before; I started writing this in 1996. I was a little precocious.
Here is the synopsis:
Max Hardin, ex-cop and fledgling private eye, has just relocated to the gritty streets of Atlantic City, where dreams go to die, and desperation thrives. Struggling to make a name for himself, his luck seems to turn when he’s hired by the owner of a local supermarket owner humiliated by a brazen robbery. With the police dragging their feet, Hardin jumps at the chance to prove his worth.
But this isn’t an ordinary thief. Hardin’s investigation leads him to John Weller, a man crushed by life’s cruel blows—a child lost to the ocean, a wife consumed by blame and grief, and the death of his best friend. For years, Weller’s only solace has been the money he’s embezzled to support Brenda, his enigmatic, pay-for-play girlfriend, and he’s been found out.
Now, Weller has snapped. Disillusioned and desperate, he abandons the hope of redemption and sets his sights on infamy. His chilling plan? To rid the world of its most ruthless sociopaths—its billionaires—one by one.
As Hardin closes in, he finds himself drawn into Brenda’s tangled web of secrets and seduction. Their dangerous connection pulls him deeper into Weller’s twisted psyche, forcing Hardin to confront not only the Billionaire Butcher he’s hunting but his own moral limits.
In a pulse-pounding finale, Hardin and Brenda come face-to-face with Weller in a confrontation where loyalty, betrayal, and justice collide. Can Hardin stop a man with nothing left to lose, or will Weller’s quest for infamy leave an indelible mark on them all?
Too Decent to Die is a noir thriller that explores the thin line between justice and vengeance, and the choices that define who we are in the face of unimaginable loss.
A writer friend of mine was kind enough to give it a read and give me feedback. He thought it was terrific. My best writing yet, he said. Okay, then, thank you.
I PROMISE IT’S AN EASY REWARDING READ!

Here’ what one Amazon reviewer said.
5.0s out of 5 stars Great History!

A wonderful summary of the topic with an amazing amount of detail. As a volunteer member of the Atlantic County Historical Society for the last twelve years, I have been made well aware of some of the history of New Jersey Mdand pirates but only in bits and pieces. This book pulls most of it together with an easy to read and entertaining style with intriguing and supportive illustrations. With the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution approaching, it is great to read a refreshing take on how they have possibly affected the war's outcome. The book is a great introduction to the topic inspiring a reader to do even further research. This book is well needed as I have not come across any other like it. Very informative and a great price! Good for readers of all ages.

Rebecca Estell Bourgeois Winston
Jumping to the opposite side of the fence, my next non-fiction book project should make the ladies happy. The book is about Rebecca Estell Bourgeois Winston of Estell Manor who became the first woman to serve as mayor in New Jersey in 1925. She is a little known but fascinating woman in a time women were relegated to second class citizenship.
