One that has always brought tears is Wildfire by Michael Martin Murphy. He too was connected to a higher power, waking from a dream to write it down. The sadness of the woman losing her beloved horse and her life as well then returning to collect her partner and ride off on the magical Wildfire is an image that overwhelms me every time.
